Inuvik Youth Centre Society
Raven took a decades old website with zero functionality and turned it into a public face that we're proud for our participants, the community and our funders to see and use. We're now able to have participants register for programs online, have a forum for youth and parents to communicate on and have a place for youth to showcase projects. Raven has been super helpful throughout the process and have taught us everything we need to know to maintain the site for our purposes.
When I started working with Gabe from Raven Web it was originally to just to rebuild Tundra Transfer’s website which had become outdated, I enjoy learning and ended up being the one who volunteered to learn to maintain and help Gabe build the new website. When I started working on our first site I had no experience building or maintaining websites at all, but Gabe made learning it interesting enough that I started doing online coding courses on my free time. The second project I worked on with Raven Web Services was the eCommerce store which is also Tundra Coffee Co.’s website. Along with learning how to build and manage an eCommerce store, Gabe taught me the values of SEO services and how to monitor our online stats. Somewhere between working on Tundra’s site and the eCommerce store I took a personal interest in learning coding, web design, SEO and most recently graphic design. I now aspire to become a fully trained webmaster and could not be more happy to have gotten to work with Raven Web Services.
